LCCC Hosts Philanthropic Photographer and Olympus Visionary, Frank Smith, on May 4, 2016

Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Photography Club will host another presentation from the Fabulous Photographer series with philanthropic photographer Frank Smith at 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, in the Rothrock Library’s Alumni Center (AC) Rooms 107/108, main campus in Schnecksville, Pa. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

Each month the LCCC Photography Club features a creative genius who can inspire through gorgeous photos and great insight to help us improve our photography skills.

Frank Smith is a veteran Tedx presenter, an Olympus Trailblazer and a member of the Olympus Visionary Program. Olympus Visionaries are established, award-winning professional photographers who travel the world with Olympus products to capture life’s beauty and splendor. The elite members of the program include several Pulitzer Prize winning photographers, as well as artists whose careers have included assignments around the globe.

In Smith’s theme Raw Travel, he will be sharing his philanthropic photography covering global themes in remote and unique areas around the globe. As a photojournalist, Frank has taken his camera to areas in the world most would never venture, helping to capture and tell stories through his photographs.

The LCCC Photography Club is a student led organization dedicated to help and inspire members to grow in their photographic skills through workshops, lectures, and hands on experience. For more information, contact LCCC’s Student Life office at 610-799-1146.
