Carbon Community College and its School of Computer Science and the Arts host
“Stay Wired; Get Hired,” a professional communication panel on Wednesday, April
16 at
2 p.m. in
the Alumni Center on main campus. The event is open to all students.

The “Stay
Wired; Get Hired” panel is comprised of communication and media professionals,
who experienced notable success in their industry. Panel members will share
their personal experiences, as well as various strategies for gaining an entry
level position in the communication and media fields.

Panel
speakers include Eve Tannery, news anchor for WFMZ, Channel 69, independent
film director Zeke Zelker and Jessie Heimann, marketing director for PBS39,
WLVT. After the event, students will have the opportunity to ask questions and
network with panelists, as well as enjoy light refreshments.
