LCCC Jim Thorpe Holds Information Night
Planning for Life after High School? LCCC Holds Information Night for Carbon County High School students and parents on Nov. 11 at 6 pm.
Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will hold an informational night on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jim Thorpe High School cafeteria to help high school students and their parents navigate their way through the options after high school graduation. Registration begins at 5:15 p.m. Carbon County high school students and parents/guardians are invited to attend this free informational session on transitioning from high school to adult life. Topics include:
• Resources to help you plan for a career
• Selecting a career path

• The costs and benefits associated with a college education

Representatives from LCCC Admissions, Advising, Career Development, Financial Aid and the LCCC Foundation will be on hand to present important information and resources that will focus on helping high school students and their parents/guardians explore educational options which may or may not include a college degree.
