LCCC Offering Comprehensive Pharmacy Tech Training in Spring 2020
LCCC is offering a comprehensive pharmacy technician course at two of its sites, daytime in Allentown and evening in Schnecksville.
Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is offering a comprehensive pharmacy technician course at two of its sites. Learn basic pharmacy terms, prescription reading, medical terminology, drug delivery systems, intravenous therapy and aseptic technician preparation, chemotherapy awareness, dose, calculations, dosage forms, pharmacy law and inventory control, as well as clean room protocols, operational theory and regulatory compliance, while preparing for PTCB exam/certification.
Two classes will be offered, one during the day and the other in the evening, both on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a fee of $1,899 (text included). The daytime class will be held from 8 to 11 a.m., Feb. 18 through June 9, at LCCC’s Allentown campus, 718 West Hamilton Street. The evening course will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Feb. 18 through June 9, at the main campus in Schnecksville.
