Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is offering a range of classes that will appeal to personal interests as well as business. Whether you want to become an entrepreneur or work out of your home, learn facts that will help turn dreams into reality.
Career as a Florist covers basic floral, plant and sales knowledge required for an entry-level position. Classes will be held on Mondays, Feb. 15 – April 11, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at Michael Thomas Floral Design in Allentown. Cost is $220; materials fee per class is extra.
Prepare for high-priority occupations with knowledge acquired in the Customer Service and Communication program, which will be held March 7 – May 13, from 12 to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Cost is $1,000; text is extra. Call 610-799-1582 for more information.

Patent Your Invention helps students develop ideas to file for a patent while learning how to capitalize on the invention by leasing the patent rights for royalties. Class is held March 16 from 7-10 p.m. and cost is $69.
Learn how to organize your small business with accounting software QuickBooks. Manage revenues and expenses, work with payroll and bank accounts, and more. Class is held Fridays, April 1 – May 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, at main campus in Schnecksville. Class fee is $177.
Fundamental Payroll covers core concepts, compliance regulations and reporting, principles of paycheck calculations, payroll processing, and much more. Class is held Tuesday and Thursday, May 24 – June 30, from 9 a.m. – noon. Cost is $710 and text is additional.
