LCCC Offering Welding Classes

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is offering two levels of welding courses, both held at Welder Training & Testing Institute (729 East Highland St., Allentown). Specific attire is required. Cost is $500.

Welding I teaches basic skills in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick) on steel. Class begins Sept. 10 from 6-9 p.m.

Students will learn “out of position” welding utilizing Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick) in the Welding II course, which begins Oct. 29 from 6-9 p.m.
