LCCC Offers Continuing Education for Water/Wastewater Treatment

LCCC Offers Continuing Education for Water Treatment Plan Operator Level 1 and Water Distribution Systems

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC), an approved provider of PA DEP Continuing Education credits, is offering training for water and wastewater treatment operators this fall. All courses are held at the college’s main campus in Schnecksville, Pa.

Water Treatment Plan Operator Level I is designed to train operators in the basic practical aspects of operating and maintaining water treatment plants, emphasizing safe practices and procedures. Class begins Sept. 20 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. and will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through Oct. 25. Cost is $572.

In addition, Water Distribution Systems will be held Tuesdays, Oct. 4 through Nov. 22, for a fee of $410. Instruction in Small Water System Operations is held Wednesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 5 through Oct. 27; cost is $470. Both are held from 6-9 p.m.
