LCCC Offers Noncredit Dance Classes for Fall 2020

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will hold a variety of noncredit exercise classes for fitness and recreation this semester. Two dance classes will be offered for couples only, for a fee of $83 per person. Both recommend a flat shoe or one with low, wide heels. Due to COVID-19 restrictions both classes will be held at the Schnecksville campus.

Ballroom Sampler teaches the basics in Fox Trot, Single-Step Swing and Rumba, all from the Big Band era. Class will be held Tuesdays, Oct. 6-27, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Learn the East and West Coast Swing, Hustle and Country Two-Step in the Social Dance Sampler class, which emphasizes the lead-follow technique. Class runs Thursdays, Oct. 29 through Nov. 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
