LCCC Offers Spectacular Saturdays for Parent and Child

Parents and their children are invited to two Spectacular Saturdays hands-on classes offered by the noncredit division at Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC). Children, ages 10 to 16 years of age, with their parents can take Pierogies 101 and Pizza.

Learn how to make classic Neapolitan-style pizza and dessert pizza; recipes provided. Create your own signature pizza by making homemade dough and combining ingredients for the topping. Course is held March 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and fee is $70 per person, which includes the materials fee.

Pierogies 101 will be offered from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28. In this class parents and children will make these Polish dumplings from scratch, filling this comfort food with both traditional and modern ingredients. This course cost is $70 per person, which includes the materials fee.
