LCCC Teaching Essential Skills in Leadership and Management for Spring 2017
Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Center for Leadership and Workforce Development is offering noncredit classes that teach leadership and management skills at its main campus in Schnecksville. Two courses are being offered, with two half-day topics per course. Cost is $127 for one half-day, $245 for a full day, and $475 for both full day courses.
Essential Leadership Skills: Communication and Leadership is held Tuesday, Feb. 7. The communication component runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and individuals will learn how to construct concise messages, to improve communication, to manage nonverbal behaviors and much more. During the leadership section, which is held from 1 to 4:30 p.m., participants learn how to deal with team members, to enhance their self-esteem and involvement in problem solving and decision making, etc.
Essential Skills of Management: Performance Feedback and Evaluation is held on Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The morning session topic discusses developing performance goals and standards, and the afternoon program provides key factors when providing performance feedback and assessments.
