LCCC Teaching Firearm Decision Making Skills for the Responsible Gun Owner

LCCC Teaching Firearm Decision Making Skills for the Responsible Gun Owner for Summer and Fall 2016

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is offering a 20-hour course in decision making for those individuals that might use a firearm in defense. Classes begin July 18, Sept. 14, Oct. 29 and Dec. 10; cost is $291. Times and locations vary between LCCC’s main campus in Schnecksville and an off campus indoor range.

Students learn defensive decision making skills and advanced firearm handling skills through a variety of lecture topics and range testing on the shooting range. Topics include mental preparation, action vs. reaction principles, advanced firearm handling, carrying, storing and cleaning a firearm, reloading techniques, shooting while moving and National / Pa. laws will be covered. Students must provide their own firearm and ammunition and related equipment.
