Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Licensed Practical Nursing program has been ranked eighth out of 52 programs in the state by PracticalNursing.org. LCCC’s overall score was 94.61 percent. The average pass rate in Pennsylvania is around 87 percent.

Nursing programs across the country were assessed on several factors, which represent how well a program supports students towards licensure and beyond. The organization analyzed past and present first-time NCLEX-PN pass-rates weighted by year.

The NCLEX-PN exam is used by state boards of nursing around the country for testing proficiency and granting licensure. NCLEX-PN rates are one of the best ways to determine how well a school is preparing students for a career in practical nursing.
