LCCC's Phi Theta Kappa Chapter President Elected as PA State President for PTK Middle States Region

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) student Don Koch was elected as the Pennsylvania State President for the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Middle States Region. The election was held at the PTK Middle States Conference held in April in National Harbor, Md. Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the international honor society for two-year colleges.

Koch currently serves at the president for the Alpha Omicron Alpha Chapter at LCCC. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012 with a business management degree, Koch returned to LCCC in 2012 to continue his education in psychology. In addition to his role as chapter president, he is also the founder and president of the Returning Adult Student Association, a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda, the honor society for returning adults and participated in the Disney Internship Program in 2011.

As the Pennsylvania State President, Koch will be providing leadership and support for over 30 Phi Theta Kappa chapters across the state and will represent the state at the regional and national level. The Phi Theta Kappa Middle States Region is comprised of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Washington D.C.
