Lehigh Carbon Community College Honors Military Veterans during Millitary Appreciation Week
Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will be honoring veterans with a series of events this week. Staff, students, area veterans and members of the public are encouraged to support the college’s veterans and participate in the these events.
WHAT/WHEN/WHERE: In observance of Military Appreciation Month, which officially takes place in May, LCCC will be holding the following events.
- The Veterans Club will be presenting a check for $500 to the PA Wounded Warriors Inc. on Tuesday, April 25, at 9 a.m., in the Veterans Lounge, located in the lower level of the Student Services Center Room 4, main campus in Schnecksville.
- LCCC veterans will be participating in Parkland High School’s Hometown Heroes Night, at which the college is a co-sponsor, on Friday, April 28, at the high school’s baseball stadium. Pre-game festivities begin at 6:15 p.m. and the game at 7 p.m.
