Man Charged with Attempted Rape of 3-Year-Old
The North Whitehall man admitted the attempt to police.
A North Whitehall man has been charged with the attempted rape of a 3-year-old girl.
Steven Crespo, 26, of the 3100 block of Shankweiler Road, was caught on top of the girl Saturday morning, The Express Times reported.
Crespo admitted trying to rape the girl during an interview with police, The Express Times said, and was charged with indecent assault of a person under the age of 13 and corruption of minors.
He was sent to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
