Man's Death Ruled Suicide

The Lehigh County Coroner has ruled the death of Homer Jones, 74, of Slatington as a suicide, according to a release from the coroner's office.

Jones, of 6231 Quincy Court, was pronounced dead at his residence at 5:37 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24.

State police had requested the coroner after responding to a shooting Monday in the Glencrest Mobile Home Park, according to a report in The Morning Call.
