North Whitehall Man, 80, Dies After Parking Deck Fall

An 80-year-old North Whitehall man died Friday following a fall earlier this month in a parking deck in Allentown, the Lehigh County Coroner's office said.

Robert E. Sotak, of the 4900 block of Mill Road, was pronounced dead at 11:03 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He died of complications of closed head injuries, said the coroner, who ruled his death an accident. 

Sotak fell at about 9:45 a.m. on Aug. 2, in the parking deck at 850 S. St. John St., Allentown, according to a release.
