One-Day Delay on Route 22 Traffic Restrictions

Beams will be set on the new Route 145 bridge over Route 22, PennDOT says. However, because of rain, traffic restrictions will now begin Saturday night (April 13), weather permitting.

Rain has delayed by one day the lane restrictions and traffic stoppages planned in the area of the Route 22 interchange with Route 145/MacArthur Road, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Friday.

The planned restrictions will allow workers to safely set beams for the new bridge over Route 22.

The lane restrictions were to begin at 10 p.m. Friday, April 12. Now the lane restrictions will begin at 10 p.m. Saturday, April 13, weather permitting.
