Open Houses Thursday at Ironton, Kernsville Schools

Open houses are set for Thursday, Sept. 20, at Ironton and Kernsville elementary schools in the Parkland School District.

At Ironton, the PTO Social begins at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria, and the Open House begins at 7 p.m., according to information on the Ironton Elementary School Facebook page.  

The first classroom overview will be at 7:15 p.m., and it will be repeated at 7:45 p.m.  School tours also will be held.

At Kernsville Elementary School, the open house will begin at 7 p.m.

Teachers will share information on curriculum, student expectations, and school policies for the 2012-2013 school year, according to the school's website. The first information session will be at 7 p.m. and repeated at 7:45 p.m.
