Students Fight Over Cafeteria Seating, Police Say

Two 17-year-old boys who argued over seating arrangements at their school cafeteria were cited for disorderly conduct for violent behavior in public, state police at Bethlehem said.

The boys, both from Allentown, began arguing in the cafeteria at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute in Schnecksville on Tuesday and challenged each other to a fight in front of the school, according to a state police release.

School security broke up the fistfight. No one was injured.

Hit-Run Accident in CVS Parking Lot, Police Say

Police are looking for a red Dodge pickup truck that they said struck the front of a parked car in a CVS parking lot off Route 309 at 6:08 p.m. on Feb. 6.

No one was hurt.

According to police, the truck struck an unoccupied parked car as the truck was backing out of a parking pace at the lot at the CVS at 3943 Route 309. The truck fled north on Route 309. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 610-861-2026.

Driver Cited in One-Car Crash

A driver was cited in a one-vehicle crash Monday on Levans Road, near Coffeetown Road, state police said.

Dale Crum, 23, of Whitehall, was travelling south on Levans Road, when he lost control of his vehicle, struck two boulders and flipped upside down. He was not injured.

He was cited for a traffic violation, driving on roadways laned for traffic.

IPhone Stolen from Unlocked Car

An iPhone was stolen from an unlocked car in the 3700 block of Wood Street, state police at Bethlehem said.

The theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m. on Nov. 10 and 6 a.m. on Nov. 11, state police said in a press release issued Friday.
