April Gas Prices Have Been Good to Drivers
Find the cheapest gas in Palmer and Forks Townships.

Gas prices in every state—except Idaho—have seen another decrease since last week, according to AAA’s fuel report.
In Pennsylvania, the average for a gallon of self-serve regular is $3.552 per gallon down 5.4 cents from a week ago. U.S. gasoline prices in April have continued to fall, the reports states, not just because of weak demand, but oil prices have also moved sharply lower.
In the Lehigh Valley, the average priceof self-service gasoline is $3.522 per gallon, 5.9 cents lower than a week ago, 14.5 cents lower than a month ago and 43.5 cents lower than a year ago.

Locally, the cheapest price is $3.60 per gallon at the Giant in Forks Township and $3.38 per gallon at Wawa, $3.43 at Giant and $3.48 at Weis in Palmer Township.

According to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report, the current national average retail price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline is $3.3.522 down 6.1 cents from a week ago, down 16.4 cents from last month and 38.5 cents lower than a year ago. In Pennsylvania, today’s average price of self-serve gasoline is $3.552 per gallon down 5.4 cents from a week ago, down 14.7 cents from a month ago and 41.5 cents lower than a year ago. In the Philadelphia market, the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline is $3.525 per gallon which is down 4.7 cents from a week ago, 16.0 cents lower than a month ago and 45.4 cents lower than a year ago.
