Community Corner

Blandine Mballa-Fonkeu for Forks Supervisor

Blandine is a community activist, a business consultant and a Mathematician. She’s been a resident of Forks for 12 plus years. She has strong family values and cares about her community. Blandine has been leading efforts to engage Forks residents in the political process of this country for many years. Some of you have seen her knocking at your door during election seasons, advocating for moderate candidates. Her family believes in civic engagement and giving back to the community. Her husband Fidele was a lead soccer coach with the Forks Athletics Association for many years. Her son Yombe followed suit for a couple of seasons before leaving for college two years ago.

Blandine is definitely “one of us”. She regularly attends Forks Township Supervisors’ meetings where issues of the day are discussed and she knows about the township budget problem.

No one will work harder than Blandine to find ways to solve the budget problem without diminishing the quality of life for Forks residents.
