Volunteers Clean Up Forks Township
About 50 volunteers pitch in to take trash out during Forks Township's second annual Cleanup Day.
About 50 volunteers turned out Saturday morning to help spruce up Forks Township for the second annual Cleanup Day.
Residents scattered around the township at , Sullivan Trail, Meco Road and other areas to scrub the township clean of trash.
Most were dressed in orange flak jackets and armed with trash bags and gloves.

"I think it is very important to hold these types of community activities to keep our township clean and attractive," said Township Supervisor David Billings, who helped pick up garbage.
Last year, the township collected more than 100 bags of trash.
