Fire Destroys Forks Home Under Construction [Videos]
Fast-moving fire was second one in past two weeks in Forks Township.
A fire destroyed a home under construction in Forks Township Tuesday night.
A home that was being built at 1450 Fox Run Road off Mittman Road was engulfed in flames and burned to the ground just before 8 p.m., about a half-hour after the call went out.
Fire Chief Charles Chapman said he did not know the cause of the fire and that it's under investigation.

"There was no drywall," Chapman said in explaining why the home burned so quickly. A house under construction is a fireman's trap."
Chapman said that Forks, Palmer and West Easton fire units responded to the blaze, the second in Forks Township in less than two weeks.

The fast-burning fire drew about 100 onlookers who came out of their homes around the neighborhood and cars that pulled over on Mittman Road to watch the house burn.
Palmer/Forks Patch reader Michael Andreano said he lives a block-and-a-half from the fire. See his video.
"I ran over when I heard the sirens and looked out my second-floor window facing that way," he said.
