Forks Reschedules July Supervisors Worksession
With meeting falling on Fourth of July, Forks Township changed its supervisors worksession to July 2.

With the Fourth of July falling on when the township has its monthly Board of Supervisors worksession scheduled, Township Manager John Cornell wondered what the supervisors might want to do.
"Should we hold it or another date or cancel it?" Cornell asked.

Supervisors Chairman Erik Chuss wasn't keen on cancelling the meeting at first.
"We will hopefully finish the financial forecast plan," he said. "But we may need that meeting because we'd have just June then and might not be able to adopt it."

Supervisor Dan Martyak suggested holding the worksession on Tuesday, July 2, instead to avoid any conflict or lose an important meeting. The board agreed.
Meanwhile, Cornell said the director of the Easton Public Library will appear before the board for the June supervisors worksession.
