How long at the job? Eight years, seven as manager.

About your job: I basically run the store. I hire people, supervise staff and kids from the home who come in to work. Also manage scouts and kids who help out, who are trying to get community service hours. I also take in donations, set up and organize donations, do the paperwork, make up the work schedules and work the checkout counter.

What do you like best about your job? I like the people who come in. They are from all walks of life. I feel that I touch people's lives by listening to their personal stories.

I also like working with the kids from the home who come in to work.
