Red Rovers Fall to Nazareth in District 11 Title
Blue Eagles outscore Red Rovers 28-21 in football showdown.
Nazareth Area High School's Blue Eagles football team beat Easton Area High School's Red Rovers 28-21 Saturday night.
The Rovers started the game fast with two touchdowns in the first quarter. The Eagles landed their own touchdown late in the quarter to make the score 14-7 Easton.
In the second quarter Nazareth took control of the game, scoring two touchdowns while shutting down Easton to make it 21-14 Blue Eagles at the half.

The Eagles scored another touchdown in the third quarter to make it 28-14. Despite scoring another touchdown to make it 28-21, Easton was never able to get back in the game.
The Nazareth Blue Eagles will face La Salle College High School in the PIAA quarterfinals at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Area School District Stadium.
