He said the township does a leaf collection each fall and a street sweep each spring.

Daniels also expressed her displeasure with a lot of trash she sees while walking her dog.

"I see a lot of garbage, paper and cans on empty lots," the Laurel Way resident stated. "Who takes care of the empty lots?"

"There's cans, bottles, all kinds of garbage in a particular space," Daniels responded.

"We have problems with recycling. On a windy day, garbage blows all over," Adams said.

Daniels also inquired about grass clippings that are on the streets.

"Who enforces the clippings?" she said. "Is there fire department enforcement?"

Colver wondered whether people had their lawnmowers turned toward the streets.

Supervisor Robert Smith stated that there is a township ordinance against throwing stuff out into the streets.
