National Fire Prevention Week is October 4–10!
The Center at The Open Link in East Greenville is proud to host a Fire Safety Program on Thursday, October 8, starting at 12:30 PM! Programming is aimed at the interests and needs of those over 60, but adults of any age are welcome! The event is no cost, but donations are encouraged, and will be held at The Center, 517 Jefferson Street, East Greenville.
At 12:30 PM, The Center is excited to welcome Jim Fry, East Greenville Fire Company Deputy Chief and Fire Marshall for East Greenville Borough, to share his knowledge and expertise. Participate in an informative and interactive program designed to help you feel more prepared and confident in an emergency. S'mores will be provided. Stay safe, stay informed, and know your plan!
At 1:00 PM, a Mock Evacuation Drill will take place. Practice emergency procedures, become familiar with exit routes, and ensure that safety plans work well in a real emergency. Perfect for new Center attendees looking to learn the building's safety plans or for participants who need a refresher.
