4th Of July Fire Severely Damages Home In Perkiomen Township
The blaze caused significant property damage over the weekend.
PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP, PA — A weekend blaze in Perkiomen Township's Northgate neighborhood left one home severely damaged.
The incident occurred on Saturday, July 4 at 9:27 a.m. on the 100 block of Lincoln Road.
Large amounts of smoke were seen pluming from the home along with flames coming the rear of the home.

Firefighters battled searing temperatures rising into the upper 90s. They applied a transitional attack, spraying the outside of the home before moving to the inside and eventually extinguishing the blaze.
Skippack Emergency Medical Services and Royersford EMS provided water and electrolytes to crews on scene. Neighbors also assisted with water supplies.

A large garage, as well as part of the home, was significantly damaged.
No injuries were reported.
