Perkiomen Valley 2, Upper Perkiomen 0:

Chandler Geise scored both goals for as the Vikings controlled play and shut out Upper Perk for an important  PAC-10 victory.

After a scoreless first half, Geise’s scored her first goal nine minutes into the second half, Five minutes later she was at it again scoring another unassisted tally. Vikings (6-1, 8-2) goalie Audree Bonavita needed just two saves for the shutout. Upper Perk goalie Katey Lederer prevented a rout with 15 saves

Girls soccer

Upper Perkiomen 1, Perkiomen Valley 1:

The Indians jumped out to an early lead, but Perkiomen Valley responded scoring loater in the first half to conclude the scoring in a interdivional PAC-10 matchup, which ended in a deadlock through regulation and two ten-minute overtime periods.

Kayla Smith scored in the fourth minute for UP (2-4-1, 2-4-2), assisted by Raychel Bair, before PV tallied in the 27th minute when Hayley Jampo converted a setup from Jenny Freid. Maggie Ortlip gave the Indians 12-save goaltending, while Emily Armstrong made six stops for the Vikes.

Boys soccer

Perkiomen Valley 5, Upper Perkiomen 0:

 Sam Donahue led Perk Valley with a hat trick, scoring one goal in the opening half and adding two more in the second half as the Vikings blanked Upper Perk in a PAC-10 game.

Alex Dove chipped in one goal and also had the assist on Donahue’s second goal. Drew Vernon also scored for the Vikings, who upped their record to 4-2-1, 5-4-1.

Abby Dove/Emma Mantey 7-6(6),  6-1.

 Perkiomen Valley dropped a tough non-league match to visiting North Penn on Monday by a score of 7-0.  Perkiomen Valley managed to take only one set5-4, coming from the second doubles combo of Danielle Newbill and Abena Aggrey. 

 Perkiomen Valley is now 5-2 in the PAC-10 and 5-4 overall.  Next up for the Vikings is Boyertown on Tuesday.
