Avoiding the common cold with garlic.

Want to avoid the common cold? 

Prepare your garlic before you are cooking. Crushing or chopping garlic 10 minutes before you expose it to heat can release more allicin, the phytochemical known for preventing the cold. Clinical studies have also shown that allicin plays a role in lowering LDL cholesterol, supporting the circulatory system and in the treatment of cancer.
