#1 PA State Constable Most Wanted nabbed while shopping at local hardware store
#1 Most Wanted on PA State Constable's Most Wanted List apprehended while off-duty Constables were busy shopping for the Holidays.

On Saturday, November 26 at approximately 10:30 a.m., Constable Joshua Stouch of Douglass Township and Constable Marlo Weidenbaugh of Colebrookdale Township Berks County (both off-duty and shopping at the time) spotted wanted subject Ron Simon's black 2000 convertible Mustang parked in the lot of Hollenbach's Home Center at Rt100 and Countyline Road in Boyertown. Upon exiting the building and arriving at his vehicle, Constables surrounded the Mustang and took Simon into custody without incident. Simon is wanted in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties. The license plate, which was was expired, belonged on another vehicle, and was registered to another person was seized to be returned to PennDOT and the Mustang was towed from the scene due to lack of valid registration, inspection, and insurance. Simon was transported to Judge Saylor's court, DC 38-2-03 in Gilbertsville where he was arraigned on multiple charges and placed into Montgomery County Correctional Facility for failure to post bail. Simon is scheduled for preliminary hearings in the first week of December.
