Accurate PA poll results

Campaign managers do not rely on mainstream media poll results; they spend considerable dollars hiring more accurate polling firms.

Tonight I spoke with Mike Stoll, Deputy Director of the Romney campaign for the state of Pennsylvania.  Quinnipiac University poll today shows Obama leading Romney 49-45%.  Yet the poll over samples Democrats by six percent.  Unskewed, the data from this poll would be 49 percent to 48 percent over Romney at the national level.  Mainstream media polls (ABC, CNN, etc) under sample Republicans by up to 11% in battleground states of PA, FL and OH, using sample universes very different from real life.  Also if we go back and look at these same pollsters compared with more accurate polls taken before the last Presidential election, back then they were off by margins of 10% or more.  This is why campaign officials hire more accurate polling firms such as Susquehanna.

Susquehanna Polling and Research has Obama never exceeding a 49% favorable or unfavorable performance measure.  That’s significant.  If an incumbent Presidential candidate is not over 50% this close to Election Day, he’s in trouble.  Susquehanna gives an even clearer picture for Pennsylvania: Obama 47%, Romney 45%.  Mainstream media polls show a major gap.  Not true.  Currently the gap in Pennsylvania is only 2 points.  Also, Obama and Romney are not the only two opponents in PA hiring pollsters right now.  We have Congressmen and a U.S. Senator and others, and the individual poll results statewide echo Susquehanna’s numbers for the Obama-Romney battle. 

Real, authentic numbers: and so for readers who favor Mitt Romney’s presidency, if you find yourselves believing the incessant droning liberal media that Romney is lagging way behind and that it would require a miracle for him to win in Pennsylvania – take heart.  To replace Obama with a proven fiscally responsible and talented leader, all it will take is your vote.
