Home Audits

Helping Buyers and Sellers stay Market Ready

February is a good month to conduct your own energy and moisture damage audits.  Check and note drafts around the window sashes including glass, wood work, baseboards, crown molding, doorsways, electrical outlets and recessed lighting. While you're at it, check for visible moisture around windows, under attic eaves, in basement, under doors, cabinets and around plumbing. This exercise can help pinpoint the need for simple repairs and caulking or more extensive updating such as a new toilet, additional insulation or some new windows.

Little issues become bigger and more expensive. By being proactive, your home will be more comfortable, there are health benefits, utility savings and your efforts will help add value to your home .
