It's exciting to be here...

New Technology post on Perkiomen Valley Patch is looking forward to your questions and comments on all things computer, network and tech.

Hello and welcome to the new technology blog on the Perkiomen Valley Patch. The Patch is a great local resource and I am looking forward to contributing to it by doing my best to share with you the latest technology and information, tips and tricks on how to make that technology work for you at home or in your business.

My background is in computer networking, and I started as a Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), before working my way through certifications from Microsoft (MCSE), Lotus (PCLP), and several hardware manufacturers certification programs including, IBM, Lenovo, Toshiba, HP and probably some more that I forgot. I used these certifications in my day to day work with PECO, GSK, Lotus, IBM and others.

That was great, but I really enjoy what I do now, which is working with everyday users and small business here in the Perkiomen Valley out of my home office in Collegeville as the owner and lead technical person for Montco IT. (www.MontcoIT.com)

I am hoping to make this blog a place where we can discuss the popular topic of the day in technology, so feel free to email me or comment with anything that is on your mind in regards to technology and I will try my best to respond to as many as possible.

We will be discussing home computers as well as business networks and mobile devices like iPads so the floor is open, let’s get started……
