Man wanted in Montgomery County picked up at Monroe County MDJ office

On Monday, June 4th, 2012, Pennsylvania State Constable Joshua Z Stouch took Johnathan Townsend Jr into custody for Failure to Appear at District Court 38-2-03 for a hearing for Driving Under DUI Suspension, Illegal Tint, Expired Inspection, No Insurance, and Speeding. Townsend was arrested at District Court 43-4-03 in Stroudsburg, Monroe County where he was attending an arraignment for Identity Theft and related offenses. At the time of his arrest by Constable Stouch, Townsend was out on $25,000 bail for similar offenses related to Identity Theft in Berks County, and is currently on Probation in Monroe County for DUI, with a violation hearing scheduled for the end of June. Townsend was remanded to Montgomery County Prison in lieu of $1600 collateral, which was posted the following day. A hearing is pending on the matter.
