Trappe Tavern has a bar and food, they do serve bar food but it's good bar food!! One evening, my husband and I were able to get out and have dinner so we gave the good 'ole Trappe Tavern a try.  Trappe Tavern has been around since 1988 and they are open every single day of the year! Good to know, because we plan on going back in the near future.  This establishment is good for families, couples, large groups and small... everyone!  I usually do not eat meat, but once a year I will have corned beef. Let me tell you... Trappe Tavern served up the best lean corned beef sandwich I have ever had!! Melted gooey cheese, warm corned beef on toasted bread and some dressing made this meal a little messy but it was delicious! My husband was equally happy with his short rib burger, but he kept eyeing my sandwich!  I must say the bartender, Jason who served us on the outside deck was great! He made one of the best margarita's on the rocks for me! It was light and tasty. You cannot go wrong at Trappe Tavern, the prices are budget friendly, even the drinks! The next time you and the family want to get out for a bite skip the diner and head for Trappe Tavern!
