Buck Landscaping Headquarters Gain Firm Ground and 'Biltmore is Coming Along Well!'

Skippack Planning Committee works with Buck and environmental engineers in new facility planned for Cressman Road and other township updates.

The Skippack Planning Committee met Monday to review and approve the motion to move the plans forward to the Borough Supervisors. The plans for land development and subdivision for the new Buck Landscaping headquarters at 1254 Cressman Road were initially submitted Feb. 21.

Brook Buck, owner of Buck Landscaping along with Scott Drumbore, environmental engineer with the H&K Group, were present to address the committee’s concerns and questions from the first round of reviews from March 21. Drumbore and the committee and spoke in detail about alternatives for the drainage situation that is contingent upon agreement with the neighboring property owned by Paul Bono, Skippack.

Although the committee has approved the proposal and is making the recommendation to the Board of Supervisors, there is still an agreement that will have to be worked out with Buck and Bono concerning the issue of excess storm water drainage.*

In other reports, Township Engineer Timothy Woodrow announced to the committee that David Erb has worked out a deal with K. Hovnanian Homes, which will be the new owner of Meadow Glen. Woodrow detailed meetings with both current residents and Erb, answering questions at this months Board of Supervisors meeting held on March 21.

“Biltmore is coming along well!” said Woodrow as he gave details about work done throughout the winter that included underground utilities installation, facades and some of the live/work units. “So if you haven’t been through there in a while, it’s looking…better.”

*Directly after the meeting, Woodrow, Bono, and Buck, et al., went out to the site on Cressman Road to explore possible alternatives to connecting the storm drains.
