Collegeville Colossal Town Yard Sale is Sept. 22

Treasures and Bargains Abound at Collegeville's Colossal Town Yard Sale This Saturday!

The Following is a press release from the Collegeville Economic Development Corporation:

On Saturday, Sept. 22, get out and enjoy the beautiful fall morning by stopping by Collegeville’s largest-ever community yard sale, with close to 100 families participating, at the Collegeville Shopping Center at Rt. 29 and Ridge Pike!

The Yard Sale runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., with plenty of parking is available at the Shopping Center.  Ursinus students, this is a great opportunity to pick up whatever you still need for your dorm room for a song!

The Community Yard Sale is sponsored by the non-profit Collegeville Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), which runs the Main Street program and the Farmers’ Market.  They will be selling ICED by Betsy cupcakes and cold drinks as a fundraiser.  While at the Yard Sale, hungry customers and vendors can also take advantage of the Collegeville Shopping Center’s many eateries:  Dunkin’ Donuts, Rita’s water Ice, The Pizza Stop, Subway, Great Wall Chinese Restaurant and McDonald’s, as well as take care of errands at the local businesses.

In event of rain, the Yard Sale will be held on Sunday, Sept. 23.

For more information, call Rachael Morrison at 610 454 1050 or e-mail her at manager@collegevilledevelopment.org.  Information on the Yard Sale is also available at the CEDC website at http://collegevilledevelopment.com/events.php?id=2012-09-22.
