Cantabile Chorale Auditions

The community's newest mixed voice, multi-generational chamber chorus is holding auditions for all voices on Wednesday, September 7 from 5:30-7:00pm at CMS. If you are at least 16 years of age, enjoy singing and being with others who enjoy singing, you will love the Cantabile Chorale! Don't be scared off by the "audition" part - our director wants to hear your voice and determine your voice part.  She can do that through vocal exercises or you can bring a song of your choice to sing. Contact CMS to set up an audition at 610-489-3676 or info@cmsmusic.org

The Cantabile Chorale rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:15-8:45pm at Community Music School in Trappe.  There is an annual membership fee of $100, payable at the first rehearsal.  Students enrolled in private lessons at CMS may join the choir at no charge!

The Cantabile Chorale is under the direction of Emilily Kosasih, a graduate Temple University's Masters of Music in Choral Conducting.  While at Temple, Ms. Kosasih studied with Alan Harler of the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia.  Ms. Kosasih has served as the conductor and music director of for the Ming-de Chorus in Radnor and the Swarthmore Chorale in Drexel Hill.
