The Collegeville Farmers’ Market will celebrate its spring opening on Saturday, May 5 with a day of fresh food and family fun from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 460 E. Main Street in the large parking lot behind the AmeriGreen Gas Station. A full slate of family activities and entertainment, plus the freshest, seasonal products from local farmers and producers, promises to make this 2012 opening market a community event that’s not to be missed.
Come hungry and be prepared to be wowed by the selection of wholesome and delicious foods. More than two dozen vendors will offer an unmatched bounty of early spring vegetables, sweet and savory baked goods, dairy products, wines, jams, jellies, sauces, fresh flowers and herbs, cage-free fresh eggs, and a variety of poultry, grass-fed beef, and pastured pork, including barbecue, sausages, and patties.
