The Welcome Back Breakfast Barbecue Bash features farm-fresh grilled recipes. It's a fundraiser for the market, aimed at making it self-sustaining so they can best support local farms and businesses.
On the menu are pastured sausage and egg sandwiches from Bendy Brook Farm, peppers from Down Home Acres Farm and a vegertarian-friendly sandwich with peppers and hummus from FreshaPeel Hummus. All sandwiches are served on St. Peter's Bakery bread. For dessert, there's Grilled Upside Down Apple Pie with gala apples from Frecon Farms and Marcy's Granola.
Christine and Company will provide entertainment, and as always we'll have lots of great farms and vendors offering the freshest, local products.
