Crescendo Chamber Music Camp

Crescendo is an inspirational and rewarding chamber music day camp. Learning to perform chamber music, where each person is solely responsible for one part without the help of a conductor, means greater challenges and rewards than usually found in orchestral or solo playing. Each student at Crescendo will be placed in a chamber ensemble of between 3 and 6 players. Through team work unique to chamber music, students learn not only musical expression and technique, but also focused listening, responsibility, leadership, and cooperation—critical skills involved in music making.

WHO ATTENDS CRESCENDO?
All string, wind and piano students from ages 11–18 who are playing at an early intermediate to advanced level are welcome. Violins: Suzuki Book 3+, Violas & Cellos: Suzuki Book 2+
