Heritage Day

Visitors of all ages will see history come alive as artisans demonstrate the crafts of our nation’s founding mothers and fathers. Among the crafters will be a blacksmith, fraktur artist, toy maker, lace maker, tape weaver, and many more. Children will enjoy the colonial puppet shows and will be able to make and take home treasures such as a lavender sachet, a fraktur picture, a woven bracelet, and more.

This year we will be joined by soldiers from the Continental Army who will help to remind us that it was in September of 1777 that the American Army encamped in Trappe, Pennsylvania.

Donations are requested to help support the maintenance of this historic site with suggested amounts of $5.00 per adult and $2.00 per child.  The Rotary will be on hand to offer refreshments.
