Art from books
Children’s books are full of beautiful illustrations and children often spend more time pouring over the pictures than reading the book. This class will take a close look at the illustrators and illustration from beloved children’s literature. Students will see how the story informs the art and style of the illustration. We will examine the techniques used to create the illustrations and create our own pictures suing those techniques.
