Ursinus College's Theater Department will present I Hate Hamlet, March 28-31 at 7:30 p.m.
Directed by assistant professor of theater Dr. Beverly Redman, the play is the story of Andrew Rally, a TV actor who has been offered the stage role of Hamlet, his dream role. But Rally has trouble deciding whether he wants a state career or a television career, and he just happens to be living in an apartment once occupied by great American actor John Barrymore, whose own version of Hamlet made a splash in both New York and London. Things get a bit weird and a lot fun when the ghost of Barrymore pays a visit to Rally in an attempt to play the part and eschew selling out.
