RESCHEDULED U.S. Poet Laureate Reading

Robert Pinsky, former Poet Laureate of the United States, will be on campus at Ursinus College for a poetry reading, followed by a book signing.

This event is free and open to the public.

Pinsky, Poet Laureate from 1997 to 2000, is described as "elegant and tough and vividly imaginative." He is the founder of the Favorite Poem Project, in which thousands of Americans shared their favorite poems. He is also a translator, essayist and teacher. His first two terms as U.S. Poet Laureate were marked by such national enthusiasm that the Library of Congress appointed him to an unprecedented third term.
