Getting to Know Cut Flowers - Cushion Chrysanthemums

Cushion chrysanthemums are larger and more "free form" than button mums.  You'll see them in tight masses of color but also in some unusual shapes.  There is a white cushion mum that comes out in winter that to me looks like a snowflake!  The colors are seasonal with lavender, pink, white, yellow and green in Spring/Summer. In Fall you'll find more golden yellow, red, brown, rust, orange.  These flowers can last up to two weeks.  They're a versatile, inexpensive flower that can add great punches of color to your arrangement.

Whimsical Welcomes has designed the flowers in the photographs.  If you'd like to discuss mums for your wedding, please contact me at WhimsicalWelcomes@yahoo.com.
