Green Bean Casserole as a Thanksgiving Side Dish

Tired of the same boring bowl of vegetables blanketing your table on Thanksgiving?  Well, shake up Tom Turkey this year and serve a little Green Bean Casserole to go with the Thanksgiving feast this year.  Not only will the family love it, but you will open the door for a new tradition for your Thanksgiving dinner for years to come.

What you will need:

  • 2 cans of French-style green beans
  • 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can of French-fried onions
  • ¼ cup of milk

Preheat oven to 350.  Mix the two cans of French-style green beans, 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, and ¼ cup of milk into a casserole or baking dish.  Cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until it starts to bubble.  Add the one can of French-fried onions for the last few minutes (3-5 minutes).

Presto, you are set with a vegetable for this Thanksgiving that will have everyone clamoring for more.
